Violet Louise Allen, 90, of Moline, died February 1, 2007 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus Silvis, IL.
Funeral services will be 11a.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave. Moline. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to American Alzheimer's Association.
Violet was born October 12, 1916 in Beardstown, IL to Jesse and Rose (Icenogle) Phillips. She married Marshall J. Allen on April 9, 1954 in Davenport, IA. He preceded her in death on September 15, 1995.
Violet was a member of Rock River Valley Associates and she enjoyed painting and sewing.
She is survived by

11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Richard Dunn, her first husband Francis Lee Dunn, her brother Ed Phillips, her sisters Bessie Campbell and Alma Valerugo and eight other siblings and two great grandchildren Cory Murphy and Sebastian Dockerty.
