Virginia E. Schmidt-Kellogg

Virginia E. Schmidt-Kellogg passed away peacefully at her home in Moline, IL, on Wednesday, February 7, 2018.

Virginia requested no visitation or services be held.  Burial will be in Resurrection Memorial Garden Cemetery in Peoria, IL.  Virginia was born in St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, IL.  She married James Kellogg on May 2, 1970.  They had no children.

Virginia worked for various companies in Peoria before moving to Moline.  She was the owner-operator of Mister Donut in Rock Island, Moline, and East Moline for several years.  She also worked for various real estate companies.  She was a member of the Zonta Club of the Quad Cities.  Virginia was also an avid supporter of the Chicago Cub’s baseball team.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, her parents, Charles and Elsie Schmidt, and a sister and brother-in-law, Loretta and Lyle Sparks of Peoria, IL.  She is survived by her significant other, Murray Pople.

Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center in Milan, IL.
