Virginia A. Styrlund, 98, of East Moline, died Friday, January 15, 2010 at Heartland Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2010 at First Covenant Church, Moline. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Covenant Church. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.
Virginia was born November 21, 1911 in Brainerd, Minn., the daughter of John and Hilma Carlson Erickson. She married Raymond I. Styrlund on April 10, 1937 in Brainerd, Minn.
Virginia graduated from Brainerd High School and the Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago. She was a registered nurse retiring from the former Lutheran Hospital after 20years. She was a member of First Covenant Church.
