Vonda S. McNair, 44, of Rock Island, died December 14, 2008 at her home.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to First Landmark Baptist Church, Rock Island.
Vonda was born September 23, 1964 in Rock Island to James and Sue (Wheatley) Rochelle. She married Michael McNair on June 8, 1985 at First Landmark Baptist Church, Rock Island.
Vonda was a teacher's aide at Audubon Elementary School in Rock Island. She was a longtime member of First Landmark Baptist Church where she played piano and sang in the choir. She enjoyed playing cards especially 'hands and feet.'
