W. Randell Dorch, age 69, of Coal Valley, died Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. immediately following at Harris Cemetery, Dallas City, IL. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
Randell was born July 15, 1939 in Burlington, IA, the son of Charles Leroy and Roberta (Rhea) Dorch. He married Ruth Ann Nagel on June 17, 1967 in Monmouth, IL.
Randell was employed by the U.S. Army Armament Munitions Chemical Command at the Rock Island Arsenal.
