Wanda A. Dennis

Wanda Ann Dennis, 67, of Milan passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at her residence.

A celebration of life will start at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Rock Island Boat Club.   Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded prior to services.  Memorials may be sent to the family.

Wanda was born on November 15, 1956 in Davenport, Iowa to Frank and Zella Koos Raymie.  She married Jamie Dennis on October 3, 1998 in Davenport, Iowa.

Wanda was previously employed at XPAC for 7 years and was currently enjoying her retirement.  She was baptized Lutheran.  She loved fishing, riding motorcycles and the Chicago Bears.  Wanda loved turtles but above all was her love for and taking care of her friends and family.

Wanda is survived by her husband; Jamie Dennis; son, David (Amanda) Raymie; sisters, Joanne Raymie, Sandra Harkins; brother Frank Raymie Jr.; brother-in-laws; Charlie Kasal, John Harkins; sister-in-law, Nelly Raymie; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, step mother, Fern Raymie, and step brothers Wally Trettin and Ron Trettin.
