Wanda A. Maddox, 71, of Moline, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Trinity, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38 Ave., Moline. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wanda's family.
Wanda was born April 9, 1940 in Batesville, Arkansas, the daughter of Johnny and Rosie Brumley Smith. She married Bobby Maddox on May 11, 1961 in Batesville, AR.
Wanda was a homemaker who loved to bake and spend time with her family. She enjoyed doing cross stitch, other needlework and she also loved to play the piano. Wanda was known for her strong Baptist faith.
