Warren Lindberg, 82, of Moline, IL, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at UnityPoint – Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday prior to the services at the funeral home. Pastor Jerry Helms of CornerStone Christian Fellowship of the Quad Cities will officiate. Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.
Warren was born on August 21, 1935, in Campbell MN, the son of Clair and Cora (Roberts) Lindberg. He married Rachel Fryxell on August 27, 1958 in Rock Island. Warren was a U.S. Army Veteran and an avid Cubs fan. He worked as an electrician for the Rock Island Lines for 26 years until their closure.
He is survived by his wife Rachel; a son Jeff (Dawn); a daughter Michelle; five grandchildren, Luke, Mark, Mitch, Michael and Matthew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, a brother and two granddaughters.
