Wayne Earl Brubaker

Wayne Earl Brubaker, 71, of East Moline formerly of Gainesville, Georgia passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus in Silvis, Illinois.
A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38 Avenue, Moline. Inurnment will follow at Edgington Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by Moline American Legion Post #246. Memorials may be made to the MDA or to Alzheimer’s Association.
Wayne was born on June 3, 1945 in Wilson, North Carolina the son of Dwight J. and Edna E. Evans Thomas. He married Trish Shenk on June 18, 2005 in Colona, Illinois, she preceded him in death. Wayne was previously married to Linda Bridges and Helen Brubaker; they both survive him.
Wayne was a veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps from 1966 -1969, he was a Master Mechanic for 45 years having retired from Firestone in Gainesville, Georgia in 2012 after 10 years. Wayne was an avid bowler and took great pride in having taught his kids to fish.

Wayne is also survived by his beloved 6 nephews
Wayne was preceded in death by his mother; his wife, Trish and a brother, Kenneth R. Brubaker.
