Wayne L. Stabler, 76, of Taylor Ridge, IL, died Sunday, August 24, 2014, at home.
Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no services. Memorials may be made to the family. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline is assisting the family with arrangements.
Wayne was born on August 6, 1938, in Neponset, IL, the son of Leroy and Agnes Brose Stabler. He married Susan Normoyle on May 8, 1960, in Moline. He worked as a welder and instructor for John Deere Harvester for 30 years, retiring in 1995.
Wayne was a United States Navy veteran. He belonged to AARP and was a member of Local 434. He loved working outside and helping others.
Survivors include his loving wife, Susan
