Wendy L. Brown

Wendy “We” L. Brown, 60, of Milan, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at UnityPoint Health Trinity, Rock Island.

A memorial service will be 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd.  Private inurnment will be at Moline Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Wendy was born on December 15, 1960, in Moline, the daughter of Donald L. and Billie Jean “Betty” (Cowan) Brown, Sr.  She had previously been employed as a driver for Excel Inn, retiring in 2000.  Wendy enjoyed crocheting, catching up with family and friends on Facebook, and having her nails done.  She also enjoyed collecting Isabel Blooms.

Survivors include her siblings Valerie (Daniel) Black, Moline, Ronald Brown, Milan; nieces and nephews, Rachael, Adam, Christopher, and Cory;

Additional survivors who Wendy loved and considered family, Jim’s daughter, Vanetta Schroeder, Bettendorf; Jim’s grandchildren, Jessica Lloyd and John Chaplin and 5 great grandchildren; Jim’s sister, Connie (Jay) Barnett.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Brown Jr, sister Susan Brown and the love of her life, Jim Smith.
