Willard “Jack” Frazer, 83, of Moline, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021 at home.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Inurnment will be at Rock Island National Cemetery at a later date. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline is assisting the family.
Willard was born on May 29, 1937 in Saverton, MO, the son of Efton and Iris (Salmon) Frazer. He served the United States Navy as a Fire Controlman from 1955-1957. He was a fireman and later became a retired volunteer fire fighter for Coal Valley. He was previously employed as a correctional officer with Rock Island County, retiring in 1999. Willard loved fishing, golfing, and motorcycles.
Survivors include his loving companion, Louise Collins; children Rick (Penny) Frazer, Kristine (Verlin) Roberts, John Frazer, Trisa (Bobby) Farren, Jennifer Landry, and Ty Hoviga; brother, Clarence (Maryann) Frazer; sister, Neva (Richard) Carlson; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and Louise’s family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jim and grandson, Joseph.
