Willetta (Willie) Ilene Copper Cufaude, 86, of Moline, passed away June 8, 2009 peacefully at Trinity Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf, IA.
Graveside services for both Willie and her husband Harold will be Friday, June 12, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Mason City Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Hospice, American Heart Association or grantors choice. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.
Willetta was born September 17, 1922 to Raymond and Helen Johnson Copper in her Grandmother Johnson's music room in Mason City, IL. Willie as she was known by her late husband and friends was raised and schooled in Mason City. She married Harold Cufaude on June 4, 1939 in Kahoka, MO. He preceded her in death on December 4, 2005.
She lived in Mason City until 1960 when they moved to Moline, IL where she became active in Moline Public Hospital Auxiliary, Meals on Wheels and a very active bridge player. Harold and she lived in Germany for one and half years while he completed an assignment for Deere and Co. After his retirement, they spent six months in Naples, FL and six months in East Moline. In 1993 they moved to Florida leaving many good friends. Willie moved back to Moline in 2006 leaving behind many good friends in Naples.
She was a past member of East Naples Methodist Church, Shores Club of Naples, Lakewood Country Club, Short Hills Country Club and many bridge groups.
The family would like to thank the staff at Parkview Terrace, Rosewood Care Center, Trinity West Hospital, and Trinity Pathway Hospice for the wonderful care provided her the last three years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Cufaude, parents Raymond and Helen Copper and one brother John Raymond Copper.
