William Aitken

William "Bill" D. Aitken, 81, of Moline, died Monday, March 5, 2007 at Parkview Terrace, East Moline.
Graveside services will be 1p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Rose-Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Visitation will be from 11:30-12:30 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Bill was born October 4, 1925 in Moline to William T. and Fern English Aitken. He married Loraine Bardohl in 1960 in Rock Island.
Bill was a maintenance engineer for 28 years at John Deere Plow Planter, Moline. He was a WWII Army veteran. He was a member of Elim Covenant Church, Moline. He enjoys fishing at the Henepin Canal and camping at Melody Meadows. He also had coached Little League.

He was preceded in death by his wife, sister Judith and brother Jerry.
