William "Bill" F. Strathman

William “Bill” F. Strathman, 81, of Moline, passed away April 22, 2025, at his home.

Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m., on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, where military honors will be conducted.

Bill was born on January 8, 1944, in Columbus, Ohio. He married Betty R. McConnell in Lafayette, Indiana. Bill was a U.S. Veteran, having served in the Army. He had previously worked as an engineer for International Harvester, and Deere & Co. at Harvester Works in East Moline. He loved his career and after retirement, he continued working as a consultant. Bill enjoyed old cars, especially his 1936 Ford V8. He was also a former Boy Scouts Troop Leader.

Survivors include his wife, Betty; and daughter, Monica Strathman.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael; brother, John; and mother, Charlotte.
