William J. Dailing, age 79, of Andalusia, died Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at Trinity, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2011 at Calvary Church of the Quad Cities, 4700-53rd Street, Moline. Visitation is from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Burial is at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elizabeth Mativo/ Kenya Well Fund or Servant's Gift.
Bill was born February 2, 1932 in Moline, the son of Herb and Dorothy Dailing. He had a wonderful brother Herb Jr. He married the love of his life Janet Hixson Dailing on August 4, 1957.
Survivors include his bride and their kids: Dawn Brown (Jeff), Carl Dailing (Donna), Bonnie Herrick (Kevin), Mic Dailing (Kami). Grandkids: Matt, Jim, Adam, Kelly, Cody, Emily, Alex, Michael, Mary, Sami, Joe and nine great grandkids.
