William Robert Muck, 61 of Colona, died September 8, 2008 at his home.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be 12 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2008 at the East Moline American Legion Post #227. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.
Bill was born June 3, 1947 in Colfax, IA to William Robert and Fannie Agnes (Hummel) Muck.
Bill was owner and operator of Bill's Tree Service, Colona. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was the former director of Niabi Zoo. He was an avid golfer and was a member of Oakwood Country Club. He enjoyed flying remote controlled airplanes, bowling at Milan Classic Lanes, playing in many Euchre clubs, and gambling on the riverboats. Bill was a very giving and charitable man. He will be surely missed.
