William Arthur Parker

William "Bill" Arthur Parker, age 66, of Moline, died Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. at Oak Lawn Memorials Gardens, Galesburg, IL on Route 150 with everyone meeting at the cemetery.
Bill was born March 31, 1942 in Hickory, NC, the son of Kenneth K. and Dorothy E. (Richardson) Parker. He married Carolyn Hamline in 1980 in Rock Island.
Bill was employed as a truck driver for 10 years, for Adrian Carriers, Inc. He was formerly an iron worker. Bill enjoyed camping, canoeing, the mountains, his family and a beer. He especially enjoyed visiting Yellowstone National Park, and going to Wyoming. Bill was a big NASCAR fan.
