William E. Sandholm, 89, of Coal Valley, IL, died Monday, November 19, 2012, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012, at Elim Covenant Church, 5201 18th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Rock Island County Animal Care and Control.
William was born on October 14, 1923, in Metropolis, IL, the son of Gunnard Edward and Alma Mae (Hogue) Sandholm. He married Janette M. Kipping on September 6, 1947, in Moline, IL. William worked as an Insurance Agent for Prudential and was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church. He enjoyed photography, music, and dabbling in the stock market. William loved his family and dogs.
