William B. Spicer, 86, of Moline, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018, at home.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at National Cemetery in Rock Island. All should meet at the funeral home by 12:15 p.m., Tuesday for procession to the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. All need to use 60th Street for access to the funeral home.
William was born on June 3rd, 1932 in Moline, the son of Arthur and Anna Mary (Ewing) Spicer. He was married to Kim Spicer on August 2, 1997 in Moline. William was in the roofing business for 38 years as a roofer, most recently employed by Winter’s Roofing. He also served in the Marines and received the Purple Heart Medal as a result of enemy action in the Korean Area on November 28, 1950.
Survivors include his wife, Kim; daughter, Mellissa Spicer, Moline; and grandchildren, David Lewis, Brad Lewis, Cobra Lewis, Kapri Williams, and Kamille Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-son, Lenny.
