William Allen "Bill" Sutton

William "Bill" Allen Sutton, 67, beloved husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, nephew, son and grandson left us to be with our heavenly father on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at home in East Moline, IL.
The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 23, 2011 at Edgewood Baptist Church, Rock Island. There will be a visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2011, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory Ltd., at 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial is at National Cemetery at Rock Island Arsenal. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Bill was born on December 10, 1944 in Rockford, IL to Gerald and Dorothy Sutton. He married Kay Cosner on March 19, 1966. He later married Wanda Sue (Jacobs) Neuleib on September 27, 1986. Bill graduated from Rock Island High School in 1962 and then later attended Black Hawk College. He was an Airman 1st Class in the U.S. Air Force from 1965 - 1969. He was a Milan Village Trustee from 1973 - 1979. Later, Bill retired as a letter carrier from the Moline Post Office, serving from 1984 - 2000. Bill was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church since 1998. As big of a fan as he was of the Cardinals, he was an even bigger fan of his grandchildren's sporting events. His greatest joy was being with his wife, Wanda, and children and grandchildren.
