Wilma M. Burkeybile, 84, of East Moline, IL, died Monday, April 10, 2017, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, IL.
Burial will be at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens, Springfield, MO. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Wilma was born on June 4, 1932, in Gilman City, MO, the daughter of Nelson Levi and Bessie Leola Royston Stiner. She married Raymond Burkeybile on March 19, 1949, in Trenton, MO, and he preceded her in death on July 14, 2004. She worked as a precision tool grinder for Case I.H. in East Moline.
Wilma enjoyed sewing and quilting.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Peggy Burkeybile, Geneseo, IL; sister, Betty Huffstutter, Trenton, MO; 3 grandchildren, Holly (Mike) Gomez, Shane (Tami) Burkeybile, and Melinda Daniels; 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 sons, Delbert & Richard; 4 brothers, Carl, Bob, Marion, and Bill.
