Wilma Joan Holder

Wilma Joan Holder, 76, of Colona, IL, died Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at Hillcrest Home, Geneseo, IL.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with a visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2016, at Church of the Nazarene, 507 1st Street, Colona, IL.  Burial will be at Western Township Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the family.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Wilma was born on October 18, 1940, in Bald Knob, AR, the daughter of Louis and Madelene Willis Biram. She married George Thomas “Tommy” Holder on May 7, 1957, in Bald Knob, AR.  In her younger years, Wilma worked as a beautician and loved following and supporting her husband as a musician.  Later, they owned and operated Tri City Vending Vending Services.  Wilma was a member of New Life Fellowship and Coal Valley Church of the Nazarene.  Currently, she attended Church of the Nazarene in Colona.  She enjoyed drawing and writing about her family ancestry.  More than anything, she loved spending time with her family, most especially, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Rhonda (Lane) McKinley, Woodhull, IL, and Tommy (Kelly) Lewis Holder, Columbus, WI; grandchildren, Amber (Tony Hunter) Holder, Thomas (Lisa) Holder, Kenneth (Jamie) Bennett, Michael (Tia) Holder, Leramy Bennett, Breck Bennett, Rodney (Elena) Quillen, Aaron (Courtney) McKinley, Steve (Beth) Westlin, Ryan (Kristie) McDonald and Nathan (Sarah) Morehart; great grandchildren, Lilly, Lolla, Lincoln, Deirx, Daisy, Reece, Ronan, Emmaline, Gracie, Sarah, Fisher, Elodie, Imogen, Davis, Peyton, Paige, Kyleigh, Braeden, Kierney, Logan, Kendall and Rylan; sisters, Wanda Quillen-Powell and Sandra (Bruce) Menser; and brother, Ralph (Connie) Biram.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tommy; two half-brothers, Timothy Biram and Brandon Biram; brother-in-law, J.C. Powell.
