Witold F. Zelnio, 81 of Moline died June 5 , 2005 at his home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 9, 2005 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Moline. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Military rites are being conducted by American Legion Post # 246. Memorials may be made to the living memory of Witold Zelnio.
Witold was born April 28, 1924 in Moline to Dyzmo and Maria (Ivanowski) Zelnio. He married Barbara Hallene on November 18, 1964.
Witold was employed as a sales engineer at Industrial Engineering, Davenport, IA retiring May 1, 1987.
Witold was an U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Moline, U.S.S. Callaghan Survivors Association, VFW Post #02153, American Legion Post #0246 and Polish National Alliance.
