Carol D. Thompson

Carol Thompson, 83, of Milan, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019, at home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.

Carol was born on December 7, 1935, in Moline, the daughter of Alfred and Regina (Olson) McCorkel.  Carol owned and operated her own cleaning company for numerous years.  She loved tending to her yard and gardening.  She also enjoyed doing crafts, baking and cooking for her family.

Survivors include children, Pam (Jim) Northcutt, Coal Valley; and Tim (Valerie) Vermeire, Lakeville, MN; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, Harold Pribyl.
