Judith E. Larson, 80, of Orion, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity Rock Island.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 27, 2017, at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, 1301-4th St., Orion. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Western Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Orion United Methodist Church or the Orion Volunteer Fire Department.
Judith was born March 21, 1937, the daughter of Truman and Margaret “Peggy” Hamilton. She married Carl Lee Larson on June 8, 1956 in Orion. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2007.
Judy had previously worked as an executive secretary at IH Farmall and part time at the Orion Pharmacy. She retired as head cook from the Orion Middle School. She was a member of the Orion United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her children Christine Edgington of Orion, Brian (Lori) Larson of Andover, Todd Larson of Orion; grandchildren Paige Perry, Amber (Ben) Rankin, Wade Marshall, Breana (Jake) Olson, Elaina Erickson, Justin (Tarynn) Erickson, Joseph (Kelsey) Edgington, Stephan Zeug; great grandchildren Kobe Perry, Quincy Perry, Liam Erickson, Braxton Edgington, Hayden Larson, Oliver Olson, Rilynn Marshall, Elexia Brown; brother Anthony (Vickie) Hamilton of Orion.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Roger Hamilton.
